“Hubble Deep Field” and “जीवात्मा / Jeevatma’s limitation”

HUBBLE DEEP FIELD AND LIMITATIONS OF JEEVATMA (जीवात्मा)

*Do I have limitless capacity?*

The farthest galaxies shown by Hubble Telescope are twelve billion light years away!

This came out of a deep observation of a small patch of seemingly blank part of the sky. This came to be known as the *Hubble Deep Field* image.

Until the “Hubble Deep Field” image came, no one knew these galaxies existed.

Whoever claimed they had limitless capacity, did not know about these galaxies. Whoever is now claiming that they have limitless capacity, don't know the galaxies which are yet to be discovered.

If Jeevatma (जीवात्मा) had limitless capabilities, it should experience the entire material creation in an instant. But this is not happening.

Primarily, material experience comes from contact with a material substance.

If one hasn't contacted something, how can he experience that thing?

So, Jeevatma's capabilities are limited. This limitation puts a boundary to it's action & experience in the material world. Within this boundary, Jeevatma feels a sense of control over nature.

Different Jeevatma have different boundaries. A sage's boundary will be different from that of an ordinary human. A Deva's (देव) boundary will be different from that of a sage.

Ultimately, the only being which is “boundaryless” is Brahman (ब्रह्मन्). The only being with limitless capacity Brahman. Hence it is the Brahman who ultimately controls and fully experiences nature.

Goal of Jeevatma is to discern Brahman. The first step in this direction is to acknowledge the limited capacity and boundaries of Jeevatma.
